Brett Butcher

For more than 25 years, Brett has been engaged in helping Christians grow and reach the lost in their circle of influence.  He has partnered with churches around the world to help them find effective ways of reaching their communities for Christ. After completing his bachelor’s degree at Western Baptist College (now Corban University) in Salem, Oregon, Brett worked at a Salem-area church for five years mentoring youth, speaking at events, and networking with local churches. Brett completed his graduate degree at Multnomah University in 2002 while serving with a church plant in Troutdale, Oregon.  He went on to work for Luis Palau Association, coordinating international events and equipping churches around the globe for evangelism.  In 2004, Brett became the Executive Director of Reid Saunders Evangelistic Association, an evangelistic ministry based in Salem, Oregon.  Using his strength of administration and his heart for evangelism and discipleship, Brett provided leadership and direction for the recently formed organization.  During his years serving with RSA, Brett led mission teams to Asia, Africa, South America, Central America, and Europe.  He also directed Salem RiverFest in 2007, which reached approximately 70,000 people with the Good News of Jesus.

In 2019, Brett accepted a position with Billy Graham Evangelistic Association with the Festival Department and currently works with pastors in Glasgow, Scotland.  Brett also serves as adjunct faculty at Corban University where he teaches classes on evangelism and Christian living.

Brett and his wife Shannon have three children:  Sarina, Owen and Noelle.  They reside in Salem, Oregon where they are involved in their local church and school communities.
