In the midst of pain and brokenness, we celebrate life and restoration with every girl who calls Amparo home and whose hope is being rekindled. As we gather around the birthday cake and sing our joyful tune, we see their eyes light up with wonder at the love that surrounds them. Amidst blushing cheeks and shy smiles, they cherish these moments. For it’s not just cake, gifts, or song, but it’s the love and joy in their hearts that starts to beam, as they’re reminded of their worth. Your support, from the smallest gift to the grandest act, is a part of this celebration. Let’s continue to celebrate life, hope, and joy anew. Let’s help these girls discover the plans of our Lord and all the wonderful things they can do in accord.

Life’s celebration at Amparo’s Restoration Program

At Amparo, we believe every life is valuable and worth celebrating, as we are all made in God’s own image. Therefore, we make it a priority to celebrate the birthdays of every girl in our Restoration Program. These girls have experienced pain, trauma, and heartache that most of us could never imagine, but through the power of Christ’s love and restoration, we’re able to bring hope and joy into their lives.

Every April we have a flood of birthdays. Last April, we celebrated five birthdays within three weeks. Each one was unique and special in her own way. Wendy, Emma, Elena, Mariela, and Sandra were all blessed with a day filled with love, laughter, and celebration. For Wendy, it was her first time having a birthday celebration, and it was truly heartwarming to see her face light up with joy as she blew out her candles and opened her gifts.

Your support enables us to continue providing for the daily needs, education, housing, and comprehensive development of these girls. But our ultimate goal is to share the good news of Christ with them, which provides them an opportunity of eternal hope and purpose.
